Book Cover

Artwork I created for a book Cover “The Earth School Guide To, Mind Spirit Mapping.” Author Sarah Breen. This project was very close to my heart as I admire the authors work, and it was amazing to be featured as the illustrator of the cover. Pieces of the artwork were also used throughout the chapters of the book.

Poetic Write Up

When I complete a piece of art work I accompany it with a poetic write up. This helps to understand the inspiration and all of the magic behind the pieces included.

The cherry blossom tree stretches out her branches full of its sweet flowers. They pull at the skies of the heavens, soaking up the light through the shades of her pink. Candy for the eyes she sways softly over Mother Earth. Her petals offering a dance of shade and sun as they flow with the wind. The divine feminine energy flows down to her roots that she digs deep anchoring into the love of our world.

On the other side sunflowers bask in the divine masculine glow of the sun. Their eyes devour the light of the warm rays, allowing them to grow strong in a cluster of golden glory. They work together in an intricate underground unity so that each flower can grow to reach its full shine.

Below Mother Gaia opens her lands to reveal the beat of her heart, that flows in the perfect harmony of the in-between. The red heart of passion beating the rhythm of its energy through all of us. She shows us the way to our universe inside, waiting for us to explore the depths of who we are.

To help guide us through the deep waters, the magic of the whale and its sacred knowledge cradles the Earth. His eyes are led by the light of the feminine flow. Bringing what is kept in the caves of the unexplored oceans to the surface, so it can shine and grow in the sun.

As all of this works in its harmonized choreography, Mother Earth spreads her wings in freedom of unlocking who she authentically is. Her heart of passion is on fire, and everything is possible with this flame. It holds the key to unlock the door to remember. The key to our existence.”
